Maryland Firefighter, 20, Killed In Delaware Crash With Cement Truck

A volunteer firefighter from Federalsburg, MD was killed in a Delaware crash, officials say.

The crash happened on Dec. 17, in Bridgeville when police say 20-year-old Cameron Gray failed to negotiate a curve on eastbound Atlanta Road and crossed into the path of a cement truck that was traveling westbound, head-on.

The fully loaded cement Mack Granite truck was operated by a 53-year-old male, he tried to avoid the collision by braking but couldn't avoid the crash

Gray was traveling in a Toyota and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family has set up a GoFundMe to pay for funeral expenses. They say the life insurance they thought he had was not there
